According to a study conducted by the University of Copenhagen, soccer increases lower leg muscle mass, jump height and power and better posture. In addition, due to the stronger bones soccer creates, players have a decreased risk of fractures.

Individuals who participate in soccer also gain increased concentration and practice methods of thinking quickly to react to situations on the field.
